The vtTA works to better advance the interests of our membership and Vermont’s broader community of tech-focused businesses, organizations, innovators and entrepreneurs.
We’ve forged good relations with state government and legislative leaders and increased the profile and influence of our organization as the voice of Vermont’s tech business sector. We’ve stepped up these efforts further by engaging professional lobbying and government relations support. In addition we have partnerships with national tech industry organizations to help address issues at the federal level.
To sustain this critical and necessary level of advocacy, we depend on financial support. Your donation to our public policy program will ensure the vtTA can represent the interests of Vermont’s tech community and economy year-round.
Those who make a commitment of $2,000 become part of a core group of “vtTA Public Policy Champions,” with additional opportunities to engage, provide input, and assist in the shaping of our public policy messaging and positions, and connecting directly with Legislators and policy makers on issues.
Note: For tax purposes, 100% of your donation should be considered for lobbing expenses. Contributions to section 501(c)(6) organizations, encompassing business associations such as the Vermont Technology Alliance, are not deductible as charitable contributions on the donor’s federal income tax return.
