Recent national and local events have elevated the importance of cybersecurity for organizations of all sizes. What are today's threats and how should you respond when targeted?

Join Champlain College and the Leahy Center for Digital Investigation for a free, one-day conference outlining key current cyber threats, as well as tactics any organization could use to prepare and respond to those threats. Experts in the field will provide guidance on security best practices for defense, response, and recovery. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in conversations about real-life scenarios and lessons learned from organizations in the region.

    In this workshop, moderated by Vermont Attorney General TJ Donovan, experts in law enforcement, cybersecurity, legal affairs, cyber insurance, and public relations go step-by-step through a data breach scenario at a mid-size Vermont company involving spearphishing and ransomware and explain how to respond.
