This Lunch & Learn Sponsored by
Vermont and Quebec have strong historical, cultural, and business relationships that offer the foundation for even greater economic ties. What are the opportunities for Vermont’s tech and other businesses through partnerships and business relationships with our Canadian neighbor to the north?
Marla Woulf and Tom Torti will discuss the Vermont-Quebec Enterprise Initiative, an effort to position Vermont as the location of choice for Quebec companies looking to expand or locate operations in the U.S. The VQEI is managed by the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development.
They will discuss the role and goals of the Initiative for increasing business partnerships, employee recruitment opportunities, and business expansion activities between Vermont and Quebec, with a focus on potential opportunities for tech businesses. They welcome attendees’ suggestions and insights for building tech-based business relationships.
