Vermont was ranked 4th overall in a ranking of the best states to find a job by WalletHub.
WalletHub compared the 50 states across 33 key indicators of job-market
strength, opportunity and a healthy economy. The data set ranges from
employment growth to median annual income to average commute time.
Within the specifics, Vermont also was ranked 4th for job satisfaction, but last for average monthly wage (However, there are a number of tech job openings in the state - you can many listed in our Career Center- and the sector's average annual wages are more than $76,000 according to the Vermont Department of Labor).
